World Aids day observed annually on December 1st , is dedicated to raising awareness to the Aids caused by the spread of HIV infection. This year students of IX observed this event by taking out a rally to create awareness about Aids and importance of hygiene among villagers. The awareness rally was flagged-off by principal Mrs. Eera Sharma. The students walked in the lanes of the village and made people aware about myths related to HIV and Aids. They held placards with slogans and banners to spread awareness about HIV and Aids. The students shouted slogans to create awareness. The villagers also appreciated the initiative and took active part in the informative session. The school teachers Ms. Prabha Rao, Mrs. Jaya Jha, Mr. Jagdish Lanjewar, Mr. Sanjay Matale, Mrs. Reena Godbole also gave their support to the awareness rally.
